My name is Daniel Barnett, and I am an independent musician and composer working in the United States. I currently hold a bachelors in music where I focused on percussion performance, music theory, and music composition. While I normally arrange for live ensembles such as marching bands, percussion ensembles, and concert choirs, I have begun to branch out in creating original soundtracks for video games.
I currently work with virtual instruments to help create dynamic soundscapes and dramatic moments in your next project, all in a range of genres from classical orchestras to synthwave and rock. Compositions are given to you ready for integration into your level design, menu music, or cut-scenes. I strive to work thematically to make sure your game has a sonic identity that will stick with your audience long after they step away from their mouse and keyboard.
Examples of my work are below and are available on Sound Cloud. If you like what I write, please feel free to follow me there as well as on itch.io. If you would like to work with me on an upcoming project, or if you have any questions, please feel free to drop me an email here.
